Fabric Guide

We take pride in finding fabrics from the best sources we can.

100% Organic Cotton Poplin
This poplin hails from the Haryana area of India and is organically certified by an independent textile body from The Netherlands: The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS). This is a lovely everyday weight fabric for Spring, Summer and Fall.

100% Organic Cotton Broadcloth
We searched far and wide for this fabric and are excited to present it to you in the form of the Editrix and the Autobahn styles. It’s a heavier fabric for Fall and Winter, but if you live in SF or Seattle, you’ll want to wear this fabric all year round. It’s super soft and durable, and you can keep throwing it in the washer/dryer with no regrets.

Organic Cotton Jersey
This is some of the finest organic stretch cotton jersey we’ve seen. It’s a plated jersey, which is finer and softer than a conventional jersey. The cotton is knit here in the USA. We offer this fabric for our wraps and preshrink it so you don’t have to worry about it.

Stretch Cotton
This stretch cotton is a slightly bit more substantial weight than the poplin of our Classic shirt, and has the give because of the perfect 4% Spandex stretch in it. The best thing about this fabric is it’s delightful ability to come out of the washer and dry on a hanger looking ready to take on the town!

Hemp Cotton Blend
Another fabric made in the USA. It looks and acts very much like linen—you know the wrinkles appear moments after you put it on. You feel adventurous and romantic with this durable fabric next to your skin. We are still in the experimental stages with this beauty of a fabric because we’re looking for the perfect style it will look great in.

Surplus Fabrics
We love surplus fabrics! Why? Surplus fabrics are manufactured by the big fashion houses in Europe and the US and can be anything from a silk blend, to stretch Lyocell, or just plain gorgeous custom printed cotton. This remaindered fabric is one of the most eco-friendly options we have and each season we call up our best overseas and domestic contacts and dive into their surplus fabric offerings and buy up the best to bring into the collection.
